In a constant endeavor of the Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust to bring together the families of the Hirani Mehta Parivar to develop bonhomie amongst all, as every year, a Kautumbik Sneh-Sammelan function was held on Sunday the 25th September 2016, at the prestigious MCA Lounge, Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai. The function was an enjoyable success, with over 160 members in attendance.
As every year, the ceremonies began with Prayers to Hirani Mataji and Puja by senior-most person & Trustee DR.SATYAVATIBEN, reviving & reiterating a noble tradition of Hirani Mehta Parivars equal respect to women. This was followed by a brief speech by the President of the Trust, Shri DINESHBHAI D. MEHTA, bringing all present up-to-date with the Parivars’ achievements & affairs.
This was followed by honouring and presentation of plaques to two distinguished Lady Members of the Hirani Parivar who have selflessly dedicated themselves to Humanitarian Causes & Social Services, and other outstanding work in Public Services.
The development of youth of any home, town or country is instrumental in shaping of its future. In recognition of this universal fact, next on the agenda was the felicitation of young achievers of the Parivar, in both spheres of academics & sport.
Please see a brief note below, outlining in a nutshell, the achievements of ten such young boys & girls.
Religion forms the foundation and fabric of a Family, a Parivar and Society at large. In recognition of this, several pious Tapascharyas were undertaken this year, and Anumodna of all such Parivar members who have performed Tapascharyas of Athai & more was graciously conducted in the programme.
Entertainment adds to joy in life, and to this purpose in mind, a superb medley of meaningful evergreen songs were rendered by Singer Amit Sinha, a popular figure in vogue today.
The lunch banquet at the Parivar Kautumbik Sneh Sammelan is always a grand affair, and this time was no different.
A benchmark measuring the success of the event, was the simple fact that each and every Parivar member who attended the Sunday get-together stayed from the beginning till end, participating whole-heartedly in every aspect of the programme, with the promise of looking forward to Sneh Sammelan 2017.
